Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Concierge in Wilmington, DE. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and deliver professional customer service.

This front desk role emphasizes visibility, safety, and clear communication. Schedule includes nights and weekends; pay is $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing guests, members, staff, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Follow site-specific access-control procedures by verifying visitor authorization, maintaining visitor logs, and issuing temporary credentials as required.
• Monitor entry areas, communications systems, and available cameras for security-related concerns, and report unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitor activity, deliveries, and other security-related events while providing a welcoming presence at the location.

Security Officer Full Time Lobby Concierge in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence while helping to deter security-related incidents through clear communication and attention to site protocols. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:
