Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify IDs, credentials, and permissions for entry to restricted areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery records per site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and security events calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of points, grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized entry.

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Badge Operations in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarm and badge systems, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $20.37 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, authorizations, and visitor or contractor documentation before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery records in accordance with site-specific access-control requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
