Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Visitor Credential Verification in Circleville, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, conduct routine patrols, and support site operations with integrity and teamwork. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry records, and report access irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries as directed, maintaining accurate logs and communicating access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and incident-reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
