Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while demonstrating Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.98 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
