Job summary

Allied Universal® in Nashville, TN is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed patrol. You will monitor and safeguard clients across logistics and distribution facilities, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, trailers, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the distribution location, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations, and complete accurate incident and daily activity reports.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to site needs with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
