Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Jeffersonville, IN. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

Position type is full time with a pay rate of $18.87 per hour. The role includes night shifts Mon–Fri 10:00 PM–6:00 AM and requires a high school diploma, background check, and drug screen where

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations and report incidents.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and assist with orderly entry and exit processes.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation; report to Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report incidents according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
