Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, invites you to join its unarmed patrol team in Honolulu, HI. As a Security Officer, you will monitor campus areas, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service to students, staff and visitors.

This full-time role features a steady afternoon shift and a pay rate of $23.39 per hour. You will help create a welcoming campus environment and support safety with calm, professional response to incidents.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws; drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while following site procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, professional problem-solving and report observations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Support emergency response activities and provide directions to campus occupants and first responders.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Surveillance in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus guests while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations, with working conditions varying by assigned area.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and communicate observations through appropriate channels.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to designated personnel.
• Support emergency response activities and provide clear directions or assistance to campus occupants and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
