Qualifications

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and document visitor access, vehicle activity, deliveries, and unusual conditions per site requirements.
• Complete daily activity reports and communicate observations to site leadership.

Pay Rate: $15.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical and petrochemical operations, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and document visitor access, vehicle activity, deliveries, and unusual conditions in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations involving restricted areas, hazardous materials operations, or facility conditions to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
