Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Anacortes, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and reporting unusual activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
