Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Presence in West Jefferson, OH. You will serve and safeguard clients across industries, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while responding to security concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain awareness of building operations and occupancy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site policy.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and property representatives.
