Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol at a financial site in Portland, Oregon. You will monitor the facility and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and customers using computer or tablet tools as needed.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to pass a background check and drug screening, and eligibility for the role with driving

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATMs, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while helping to deter unauthorized access, disruptive behavior, and/or suspicious activity at the location.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol - Financial Site in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and customers. Using clear communication and computer or tablet tools as needed, you will support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

• Mon: 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• Tue: 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• Wed: 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• Thur: 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• Fri: 08:45 AM - 06:15 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
