Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and applicable emergency response activities at a technology-focused facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access activity and visitor entry procedures, verify credentials as directed, and report access concerns or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
