Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Entry Screening in Seatac, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide welcoming customer service. You will use communication and technology skills to document observations and assist visitors and employees. Pay Rate: $23.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• DayTime Tue 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
• Wed 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
• Thur 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sat 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to transportation location personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas, access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and direct authorized visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with established procedures and maintain clear, professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
