Allied Universal in York, PA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Emergency Response. This role involves driving between locations, conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service to shoppers and tenants.

You will respond to security-related concerns, document observations, and coordinate with site leadership.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
