Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
