• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Reading, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

• Security Experience:
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience. This experience should be clearly outlined in the candidate's resume and discussed during the interview process.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or property damage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
