Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Officer (Full Time, unarmed) in San Francisco, CA to monitor and protect client facilities while delivering excellent customer service. You will support a welcoming environment and uphold site policies throughout the shift.

The role involves patrolling assigned areas, verifying credentials, responding to alarms, and documenting activities per site procedures. Training, benefits, and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening will be performed.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
