Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time overnight unarmed patrol at our Bristol, PA location. You will deter incidents through visible patrols, respond to security concerns, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires background checks and a drug screen, with a schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Sunday. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of security-related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years in security supervision or 3 years in security.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
