Position offers full-time hours and a pay rate of $20.08 per hour, with a schedule including overnight and early morning shifts at an airport location. You will use computers or tablets to perform duties and maintain clear, detailed records.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and vendors at an airport location following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, and other assigned areas; report maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms; notify emergency responders when appropriate.
• Complete incident reports and logs; communicate professionally with airport operations and agencies.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a public transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Pay Rate: $20.08 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying emergency responders when appropriate.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with airport operations personnel and public agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
