Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coordinator in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while documenting activities and responding professionally to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report irregular conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with site stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
