Qualifications

• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report concerns to site contacts.
• Prepare clear incident and patrol reports in line with requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Boundary Control in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to tenants, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
