Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aviation technology and aerospace-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following post orders.
• Communicate observations and security concerns to site leadership and emergency personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Lake Forest, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aviation technology and aerospace-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership, Allied Universal management, and appropriate emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
