Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed patrol driver role in Sugar Land, TX. You will provide security services at a financial institution, perform routine patrols, monitor access, respond to alarms, and deliver excellent customer service.

We seek candidates with at least 2 years of security experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Training and benefits are offered as part of joining Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Complete required reports and communicate information to site leadership and management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Coordination in Sugar Land, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.


• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
