Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Response in Sacramento, CA. You will protect clients across government facilities, perform routine patrols, maintain visibility, and deter incidents while delivering friendly service.

You will monitor entrances, respond to alarms, document incidents, and follow emergency procedures. Qualifications include a guard card, high school diploma, and successful background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and according to established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents and patrols.

Pay Rate: $20.10 / Hour

• Mon 02:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at municipal facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
