Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Background check conducted as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following reporting procedures.
• Prepare clear incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation per Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the assigned area, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
