• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and other security activities.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Office Patrolin Brook Park, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activities and communicate clearly with visitors and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
