• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and escalate as needed.
• Observe and report security-related conditions and equipment concerns through reporting channels.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the construction location, perimeter, parking areas, materials storage areas, and access points to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Observe and report security-related conditions, policy violations, and equipment concerns through required reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
