Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors and campus community while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, walkways, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner following campus protocols.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with campus personnel, Allied Universal leadership and emergency responders as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with campus personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
