Allied Universal in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CPR Patrol. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors at a technology-focused site.

The role includes night shifts with a 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM schedule and a pay rate of $17.63 per hour. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and candidates must meet age and background requirements.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting irregularities and/or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
