Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to identify hazards and report concerns.

• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communicate information during shift changes.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Care Environment Security in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a caring environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while responding professionally to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, entry procedures, and traffic flow in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift changes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
