Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Officer full-time Access Detail to protect patients, staff and visitors at a healthcare location. You will monitor entrances, perform unarmed patrols, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to receive hospital-required vaccines.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Will consider applicants with criminal histories per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Detail in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity; report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive hospital-required vaccines.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
