Qualifications

• Candidate must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor credentials, deliveries, and authorization for personnel, vehicles, and vendors.
• Monitor entry/exit points, vehicle traffic, and loading areas; document arrivals, departures, incidents, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate personnel and following response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for personnel, vehicles, and vendors entering or exiting the site.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and loading areas; document arrivals, departures, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and loading zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
