• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies, and respond to emergencies per protocol.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and help support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
