Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 10:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate areas when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and actions taken through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.li>
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
