Security Officer | Full-Time | Snapdragon Stadium

Oak View Group is the global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services for the live event industry. We offer an extensive, 360-degree solution set for a collection of world-class venues, including arenas, convention centers, music festivals, and cultural institutions.

Position Overview: The Security Officer is a Full-Time, hourly role reporting to the Director of Security & Transportation. Responsibilities include protecting Snapdragon Stadium, visitors, staff, and vendors on a 24/7 basis. The hourly rate ranges from $21.62 to $22.00.

About Snapdragon Stadium: A 35,000-seat multipurpose venue hosting college and professional sports, concerts, festivals, motorsports, and private events.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and operate surveillance, access control, and fire alarm systems.
2. Vets visitors and contractors, verifying credentials and preventing unauthorized access.
3. Patrol the stadium to ensure safety and security of all persons and property.
4. Respond to incidents, acting as first responder when necessary.
5. Maintain confidentiality and accurate logs of all activities and incidents.
6. Conduct screenings and internal investigations, providing detailed reports.
7. Attend briefings and training sessions; uphold security protocols.
8. Greet and assist clients, employees, guests, and vendors professionally.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years of related experience or equivalent education.
• Effective communication skills; ability to operate computer software including Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience in large public venues or security training preferred.
• Physical ability to access various areas, lift up to 25 pounds, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Background check and drug test required.
