Position Summary

The Security Officer is a part-time, hourly position reporting to the Director of Security & Transportation. Responsibilities include protecting Snapdragon Stadium, visitors, staff, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance, access control, and fire alarm systems.
• Vetting visitors and contractors, verifying credentials, and preventing unauthorized access.
• Patrol stadium property, ensuring safety and security in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, act as emergency first responder when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality, logs, incident reports, and complete required documentation.
• Conduct screenings and internal investigations, providing detailed reports.
• Attend training sessions and briefings to stay informed on policies and events.
• Greet clients, employees, guests, and vendors professionally.
• Follow security protocols and represent the company positively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years of related experience or equivalent education.
• Effective communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong computer skills.
• Previous law enforcement or public safety experience is a plus.
• BSIS Security Guard certification is desirable.
• Physical ability to access various stadium areas, lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must pass background check and drug test, and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays.
