As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Patrol in Somerset, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Allied Universal is seeking a reliable Unarmed Patrol Officer to monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic client location. In this role, you will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, document observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and designated interior spaces to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and help maintain compliance with visitor sign-in, credential verification, and restricted-area entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
