Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time - Site Access in Savannah, GA to protect client sites across technology environments. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents while providing professional customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass screenings. Pay is $19.00 per hour with a full-time schedule and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation for site contacts and leadership.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
