As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, report security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with established access-control and screening requirements.
• Inspect packages, parcels, and other items entering or leaving the facility for prohibited or unauthorized materials, following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and promptly reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading areas, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
