Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and document incidents and daily activities.
• Collaborate with site personnel, visitors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Routine Patrol in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology workplace buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, visitors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
