Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Foot Patrol in Boise, ID. You will monitor site activity, deter incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

The position offers full-time hours with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour and a rotating schedule. Applicants will undergo background checks and drug screening as required by law, with licensing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/​or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/​or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, incidents, observations, and/​or unusual conditions in required reports.
• Support a professional, customer-focused environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following post orders, technology-site protocols, and Allied Universal procedures.
