Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Route Verification in Monee, IL. You will serve and safeguard clients, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and document security-related activities using a computer or tablet.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and the ability to work a set evening schedule.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Full Time Route Verification in Monee, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will use communication skills and computer or tablet tools to document security-related activities while delivering service with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
