You will document activities, report incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This is a full-time daytime to evening schedule with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity per site requirements, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare clear incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Route Verification in Monee, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will use communication skills and computer or tablet tools to document security-related activities while delivering service with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
