Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while managing access control, visitor check-in, badges, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an orderly environment, respond to alarms as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service using computer or tablet systems. Pay Rate: $19.64 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and Allied Universal protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests in accordance with financial institution policies.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, and camera systems, as assigned, and report unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and other security-related records while communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
