As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Ambassador in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access at the front desk, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records in accordance with site policies.
• Receive incoming calls, provide directions and information, and communicate security-related concerns to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, access-control systems, and other front-desk equipment, reporting unusual activity or system issues according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site-specific emergency response procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
