Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Property Patrol in Millington, TN to monitor a logistics site, deter incidents, and deliver customer service with a visible security presence.

The role requires at least 6 months security experience, a high school diploma, and successful background check and drug screen. Pay is $16.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday 08:00–16:00 schedule.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing vehicle, visitor, and employee activity and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
