Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Route Driver in Salinas, CA. You will provide security and customer service at automotive locations, performing routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Route Driver in Salinas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors, employees, and dealership personnel. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and automotive business personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of vehicle display areas, service lanes, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, or property concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding personnel regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
