Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Field Reporting in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive conduct through a professional presence, observation, communication, and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
