The position is full-time with a schedule including daytime and night shifts, requiring a valid driver’s license, badge/Access control

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity and hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain logs, and report irregularities to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Badge Operations in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain required logs, and report irregularities to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Observe required personal protective equipment and site entry requirements while performing assigned duties in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
