Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies within a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access, and critical situations calmly and in line with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and directing visitors and contractors.
• Report observations and maintenance concerns promptly through required channels and complete activity reports.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and maintaining required entry and exit documentation.
• Report observations, incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns promptly through required communication channels and complete accurate activity reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
